FAQs
What if I’m nervous about starting therapy?
1
Feeling nervous about starting therapy is completely normal. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re sharing parts of your story that you haven’t talked about before. Therapy is a space where you can move at your own pace, ask questions, and be met with compassion and understanding. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable being yourself—without judgement.
How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. Please complete the online consultation questionnaire to determine if we are a good fit for your needs. We will reach out in 24-48 hours for next steps to complete paperwork and schedule your initial session.
How often should I attend therapy?
3
The frequency of sessions depends on your goals, current challenges, and what feels most supportive. Many clients begin with weekly sessions and adjust overtime.
How do I prepare for my first therapy session?
4
You don’t need to prepare a perfect explanation of what you’re experiencing. Come as you are. It can be helpful to think about what has been feeling difficult lately, what you hope will change, and any questions you may have for me or the therapy process.
